These large resin plaques were backlit and have served as wallside illumination. A second layer in white acrylic glass serves as a light dispenser and prevents the light source to be seen through the resin, resulting in an even light diffusion. Due to different pigmentation and different thickness of the plates (1.2 – 1.7), the color shows slight variation. The casting process left one surface of the plate smooth, whilst the other shows intentional, arty bubbles and irregularities, which makes every plaque unique.
