This front door consisting of two wings was designed by Jean Prouvé in 1930 (see: the picture from Jean Prouvé’s works- Peter Sulzer page 58 and 168). It was originally installed in a house in the Vosges in the vicinity of Epinal. All parts of the door are linked by screws. The complete inner side of the front door was ornamented with glass sheets. The original suspension with the hinges still exists.
