The object was exhibited in Stuttgart in 2002 as part of an exhibition called “The Poetry of Ceramics”.
The double-sided ceramic called “Kokon” shows on the raised side two arms lying in a circle, which frame a golden face.
The opposite side, kept flat in the embossment, shows the same motif but sculpted into the surface.
On this side is also the signature, R. Capron.

Roger Carpron, 1922-2006, over 60 years as an active artist with the most diverse stages of creation.
“Kokon” belongs to one of his late works and was acquired in 2002 at an exhibition by the previous owner. Roger Capron himself was present at the opening.
