“La Grande Siccitta” is the name of the sofa designed by Paolo Pallucco & Mireille Rivier, which is representative of the postmodern design of the 1980s.
Two blocks of different heights, covered in black leather, rest on a steel frame which in turn rests on two casters.
The black leather backrest is visually distorted by a steel cable.
This creates an asymmetrical shape.
There is a Pallucco adhesive tape on the underside.
This sofa comes directly from a private collection in London.
The previous owner purchased it in 1990 from a well-known furniture store in south London and it has always been in his possession.

Unconventional and suspenseful.
These attributes immediately strike you when you encounter this sofa by Paolo Pallucco & Mireille Rivier. One would prefer to release the tension that extends across the backrest. This sofa is one of the most “exciting” designs by the duo.
