And in view of this lighting object, is it any wonder that the lighting philosopher Ingo Maurer wanted to elevate the light bulb to world cultural heritage status? No, not at all! A single light bulb can create such a play of light. What was important to Ingo Maurer was the lightness of his luminaires, and he felt that his work was successful if he could trigger a feeling of joy in people. In this work, he has combined lightness, simplicity, humor and a joyful feeling.
