This readymade armchair by Ron Arad is the first piece of furniture with which he was able to gain an international foothold.
It was put together using Kee Klamp scaffolding tubes and seats from old Rover vehicles that were commercially available at the time.
Due to the success of this idea, Ron Arad turned away from architecture and more towards furniture design.
The angle of the backrest can be adjusted using the lever on the side.
The armchair is in beautiful vintage condition and labelled “One Off London”.
