The Orix desk by Vittorio Parigi & Nani Prina, designed for Molteni, is a striking example of the progressive design language of early 1970s Italian design. This eye-catching design combines a molded ABS plastic body in high-gloss red with a glass worktop and a steel frame. The writing surface consists of a glass panel that can be opened to access the storage space underneath. A table lamp is integrated into the back for opening and closing. The base frame can be dismantled.

Finished in bright red, the desk has a strong visual presence and becomes the dominant element in the room. The clean lines and balanced proportions give the furniture a timeless elegance despite its intense color. The name Orix stands for a rational, modular workspace that combines design and everyday practicality.
